Guest Post: The Wren Rug by KehrerBerry Crafts
Posted by Johanna Fox on
Hello!
My name is April, the maker behind KehrerBerry Crafts. I am a yarn obsessed, crochet-a-holic that designs patterns and makes pom poms.
I wanted to share with you my quick and easy mug rug, called The Wren Rug. I used a self-striping Uneek Worsted by Urth Yarns to make them.
This yarn is so beautiful worked up! I think the finished product looks amazing and decided to make this mug rug a plant rug. Succulents need rugs, too!
I’m sharing the pattern for my 4” x 6” Wren Rug with you today as part of my guest post. You can either add a fringe to the edges or not. But fringe gives it a little flair to the finish.
You will need about 30 yards of yarn for one rug and a size H hook.
Speaking of hooks, once you make one, you will be also (hooked that is)! I’ve made countless rugs myself and have this pattern, plus lots of other patterns, finished goods, and stickers and tees in my Esty shop. I welcome you to follow me on Instagram @kehrerberrycrafts where you will see I’m making 72 hats!
Happy stitching, friends!
XO April

This is wonderful and the yarn was a great choice.
